2022 forward Noah Clowney was our biggest stockriser in Atlanta last weekend at the Sweet 16 hosted by On The Radar Hoops.

At 6’10, Clowney displayed a lethal combination of perimeter shotmaking, athleticism, ball-skills and rim protection while suiting up for Team Dickerson.

“I’m willing to guard anyone 1-5 and like to play defense. Offensively, I like to face-up, pick and pop from 3 and I finish with both hands.”

That level of versatility and skill turned the heads of college coaches tapping in via live-stream, as Clemson, Georgia Tech, Providence and Appalachian State have all extended offers within the last 5 days.

The skilled junior already held existing offers from Xavier and Virginia Tech and is on the verge of becoming a national level prospect with several other heavy-hitters keeping tabs.

“I also talk to Georgia a lot and I’m getting interest from Tennessee, Tulsa and USC.”

With the dead period set to end in June, Noah plans to be active on the visit trail.

“With the health crisis I haven’t been able to take visits, so I plan on trying to see all the schools that are recruiting me once I’m able to.”

While a commitment isn’t in the near future, Clowney is looking for a demanding coaching staff with a fast-paced system and supportive teammates.

“Location used to be big to me, but I realize that fit is the most important thing, so if I have to go across the county for a better fit then I will. I want a good coach that will push me to get better, an uptempo system and good relationships with teammates.”

With visits still more than month out, Noah is primarily focused on continued improvement of his perimeter skills.

“I want to get my handle tighter and get my jumper more consistent.”

Clowney is severely undervalued by most other outlets. It is rare to find a lengthy 6’10 prospect with his level of agility, ball-skills and perimeter shotmaking ability while having a ton of room to improve. The ceiling here is incredibly high and he has entered our 2022 watchlist as a 4-star prospect (profile here) that figures to be one of the most coveted bigs in America this Summer.
